The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) at St. Elizabeth Seton guides people on a journey of faith—one that involves the entire community. It is a process for those seeking to develop or deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The RCIA process is a series of carefully planned stages, marked by liturgical rites in the presence of the community, in which those seeking Jesus Christ and His Church embark on and join us in a continuing and deepening conversion into faith and discipleship.
The RCIA journey is divided into four periods to engage the inquirer, the Christian from another faith community, or someone unbaptized. Our gatherings focus on encountering Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
